Y3 Thornaby Mosque Visit

20th February 2018
Y3 Educational Visit to Thornaby Mosque

As part of our R.E. Curriculum, Y3 enjoyed a visit to Thornaby Mosque.

The children where really interested and enjoyed learning about the Islamic religion first hand. They listened to prayers that were then translated into English. Holly class went on to discuss values and comparisons between Islam and Christianity.

Florence said “It was good to see inside a Mosque. It is different from our church. They have different things to do. We had to take our shoes of at the entrance so we didn't walk dirt in from outside".

It was commented by members of the Mosque, how well behaved our children were, thank you Y3!
