Cat Burglar

My Book Review by Erin (Y6 Oak Class)

Trees hurtled past me as I stretched out my long, brown wings and soared into the sky, my eyesight becoming less blurred, and the pain in my wrist starting to cease. I felt the breeze running past my face as I realised I was falling, falling fast…

What will she do? Is this the end of Scarlet McCall?

If you love action packed stories that send your heart pounding, then this is the book for you. Delve into the world of a sensational cat burglar and see her face a mission that will leave you blown away. Once you open the book, you won’t be able to put it down. In my opinion, Tamsin Cooke is an amazing author and I suggest you read this book otherwise you’ll be sorry!

At first, you might think the book is a bit boring, as it’s just about her normal life, but if you are able to put that aside and keep reading, you will be engrossed in the book. You might even think it has a bit too much action!

Scarlet McCall is my overall favourite character. She is very adventurous and doesn’t care if she breaks the rules, she is very determined and always finds a way around any problems.  Also, she doesn’t like people proving her wrong.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves adventure and action, also for people who love quite short books that make you want to read it over and over again.

I would like to read any other books in this series as I enjoyed it so much. If I read more I think my head will explode with the amount of action packed on the pages! This is one of my favourite books and I wish I could have read it sooner.
