Prayer Spaces

1st October 2018

With the help of Year 6 Ethos Leaders, we are establishing a rolling programme of prayer spaces at lunchtimes on a two week cycle. They are planning the space one week and then setting up the area the following week.

Prayer Spaces in Schools enable children and young people, of all     faiths and none, to explore life questions, spirituality and faith in a safe,  creative and interactive way.

The Ethos Leaders are taking their role very seriously and have enlisted  help from family members.

Phoebe’s Grandad, Mr Williamson who is a talented carpenter, has  made a beautiful prayer cross that the children can use to post their  thoughts and prayers.

We will include photographs of some of the Prayer Spaces in future  newsletters as to highlight the range of activities the children have so  carefully undertaken.

Well done to the Ethos Leaders and a huge thankyou to Mr Williamson!
