Beamish Visit - Y1 & Y2 - November 2018

1st November 2018

Our Y1 & Y2 enjoyed a wonderful day at Beamish Museum.

Beamish, the North of England Open Air Museum is located at Beamish, near the town of Stanley, in County Durham. The museum's guiding principle is to preserve an example of everyday life in urban and rural North East at the climax of industrialisation in the early 20th century. Much of the restoration and interpretation is specific to the late Victorian and Edwardian eras

"Our school trip was amazing. I loved the tram when it was moving. It was very fast and bumpy. The church was fun. We went to Joseph’s house. We took a lot of pictures of us all. We were in the old school and it was very dark and long. We went to an old sweet shop and tasted a disgusting sweet. We got to go to the dentists house and in a pit cottage. We got to go on a very fun adventure and we learnt all about the war."
