Harvest Celebration

29th September 2017

Rainbow Harvest Celebration

On Friday 29th September 2017, our school community joined together to celebrate Harvest. Our hall was packed to the brim with many parents having to stand for the service.

Despite some technical hitches, our children performed and sang beautifully. Each class gave a presentation on our themed Harvest.

Following the service, the children sold the produce they had brought into class to raise money for charity. This year they chose to support The British Red Cross.

Our thanks to everyone who came along…  a special thank you to Reverend Wilson for her prayers and for blessing our school.

We would also like to express our gratitude to Mr Edwards, who has a local allotment.  He very kindly donated vegetables and also let us borrow his amazing pumpkins for our display.  They were so big, they had to be wheeled into school one at a time!

We are delighted to be handing a cheque over to The British Red Cross for the amount of...

£ 493.00

This is an amazing amount of money to raise for this fantastic cause. Thank you everybody.
